When you create a pool you will need to enter the number of points for each round. The default scoring type will be standard scoring.
Most pools use a standard scoring system where each round is worth a certain number of points. But there are many other styles out there that people use. This app has three different scoring types available.
After you create a pool, then you can enter the brackets. You only need to enter 15 winners for each bracket because you start with the elite eight. This app doesn't need to know the details of the first two rounds, it just needs to know how many points each bracket has after the second round.
For each bracket, enter the points after the round of 32 is completed and before the sweet sixteen begins.
Once all the brackets are entered, you can export the pool as an excel file. You can send that file to anyone else in your pool and they can easily import it.
Number of brackets There is a limit for the number of brackets that a pool can have. That limit is unknown and will vary based on the computer that is used. Most computers should be able to handle pools with at least 100 brackets. Some may be able to handle pools with several hundred brackets. Eventually every computer will reach a point where there are too many brackets and the app will run out of memory while doing calculations. When this happens, the app will just close unexpectantly.
